I have had some lectures on land readjustment for foreign planners in JICA Urban Development Course for long time. Concept of LR is very simple and beautiful but it is difficult for foreign countries to introduce the system, because each country has its unique system on land, planning and other social systems.
Especially, land system is basic and almost social systems stand on it. I hope “Land System in Japan” could be reference for planners who want to study Japanese LR system.
